What do I need to get started in the EMC Proven Professional Program?

All you need is an EMC Power-Link account. For some, an EMC workshop training session will be your first training experience. You will have to set up an online account to continue with your training.

How do the testing stakes differ for the program levels?

Associate (Foundation Level): Deploys medium-stakes testing practices, which include exam blueprints, development of questions by subject matter experts (SMEs), and content validation. Exams are fully proctored and occasional psychometric analysis is can-led out to ensure validity of questions as well as assessment.
 
Specialist (Intermediate level): Deploys medium-stakes testing practices, which include exam blueprints, development of questions by SMEs, and content validation. Exams are fully proctored and occasional psychometric analysis is carried out to ensure validity of questions as well as assessment.
 
Expert (Advanced Level): Deploys high-stakes testing practices and exams are always proctored. Questions and assessment validity are ensured by thorough psychometric analysis.

What is the difference between EMC Certification and EMC Accreditation?

Both Differences as name suggest, certification do have more assurance of the holder's competency then the accreditation.`

How much time my exam records takes to get updated on CertTracker?

It may take up to 4 working days to update exam records on CertTracker.

How do I track my EMC Professional Program status?

EMC certification tracking is managed on CertTracker.  Click here to log in, use your ID number and password to log in. 

Can I retake exam I have already cleared?

No, You can not. Candidates are not allowed to retake the exams which they have already cleared.

Is there a waiting period to retake the exam if I failed in any attempt?

If you fail in the exam for the first time, there is no waiting period, however, if you fail in the exam for the second time, there is a waiting period of 5 days. 

What could be the exam results?

There could be only two results of any EMC exams, either PASS or FAIL.
